JOB DESCRIPTION: Landscape Tech

Classification: Non-Exempt

Reports To Landscape Manager

Summary/Objective:

Urban Greenscapes is seeking a driven Landscape Tech who is reliable and has an excellent work ethic. This is an excellent position for the right candidate. Urban Greenscapes is looking for a Landscape Technician to join their professional maintenance team. Work out of the company headquarters, conveniently located within steps of the University of Florida campus in Gainesville. Applicants with experience in landscape maintenance, plant replacement and plant care preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.

• Work independently, available on-call to resolve problems that arise.
• Ensure all safety standards are followed.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience in landscaping preferred
• High School Diploma required
• Drivers License required
• Mowing
• Weed eating
• Edging
• Hedge trimming
• Blowing
• Installation of mulch and plant material

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday
• Overtime
